Proverbs 1-4
HEAR, MY SON, YOUR FATHER'S INSTRUCTION.
Proverbs 1:8
Today is the first day of 40 days of intense intercession. As I sought the Lord as to what He wanted me to pray, He spoke clearly and without any doubt "Pray on Proverbs 1-4"
As I read and prayed this scriptures I cried, for I could feel His Father's heart. He is God, He is our Father...read proverbs 1-4 with such concepts in mind...most tender words!
my prayer for the next forty days will be something like this:
God,
Here I am standing before you to pray for your children, children whom you deeply love. I come to simply agree with what is already stablished in Your heart for them. Yes, Father I agree with you, it is a good thing that we recieve strong and deep fear of You. For in Fear of the Lord wisdom is found, and along with wisdom many wonderful and desired treasures come along.
Father it is good that you allow us to receive training in wise conduct, in what is right,just and honest; That resourcefulness, knowledge and discretion be imparted to the simple (us).
Father, do give us the capacity to accept your instruction and teachings, so when sinners try to trick us, we will not follow them. Yes, You are right, absolutely right, Your children need to leave inanity behind. It is time we stop turning away your reproof. It is time we attend your call and take notice of your extended hand. It is time we consider your counsel and your reproof.
Father, I agree!!! In our arrogance we have preferred arrogance and like fools we have hated knowledge, but it is time for a huge change. It is time our arrogance is broken down. Father the self-will of the simple kills them and the smugness of fools destroys them but he who obeys you dwells in security, in peace and without fear of harm. So, PLEASE allow us to become humble and accept your commands, your reproof and your discipline.
Father, Creator God, I come seeking your mercy and grace...PLEASE grant us a new heart! A hear that receives your words and treasures your commmands. A heart that is inclinned to understanding, ears that turn to wisdom so we may understand the Frear of the Lord; and so we may find the knowledge of God.
Father, out of your mouth comes knowledge and understanding; please give us ears to hear you.
Father you have counsel in store for the upright, we want to be in that number, we want to be able to recieve your counsel. Father, here we will find true life, not a waltdisney type of life, but real life, and this will please you. I see your desire, I see how much you long to see us live life, and I agree it is a great plan. I say Yes, God...lets go for it!!! Do whatever is needed to take us there!
Father may we not forget your teachings, and may we keep in mind your commads; for many days, and years of life, and peace, will they bring us. God, please make us able to hold unto kindness and fidelity for they will gain us good esteem before you.
Father, FEAR OF THE LORD it is the one thing we truly need. For out of this fear wisdom and knowledge of God comes forth, and it is such revelation that will allow us to trust in You with alll our heart, and thus we will not rely in our own intelligence and in all our ways we will be mindful of You and You will make our paths straight. And not only that Fear of the Lord will make us turn away from evil and this will mean health for our flesh and vigor for our bones. And not only that Fear of the Lord will take us to honoring You with our wealth and then our barns will be filled with grain.
So, Father, please allow us to FEAR YOU.
Father, so much will flow from here...so much, and much of what our hearts have longed for and have wandered all over trying to find, but not having found, for we lacked FEAR OF THE LORD.
Father, I read these lines, and I am overwhelmed, so much beauty flows from living near you.
Your discipline is life to our soul...you show kindness to the humble...honor is the portion of wise men... Oh, Father! Grant us to be children who hear Your instruction, that we may be attentive so we may gain understanding! That your excellent advice we may receive and that we may not forsake your teachings!!!
That we may hold fast to your instruction, never letting it go, keeping it for your instruction is our life.
Father, Father, Father...I am now pleading you, I am filled with a strong desire to see this come about in each of our lives!
That our path be like shining light, that grows in brilliance till perfect day.
God, grant us the capacity to guard our heart with the closest custody, for in it are the sources of life.
and please give us eyes to see what lays ahead. may we look straight ahead and our glance be directly forward. So we may not turn neither right or left.
Father to such people you offer you friendship, and we deeply long to be your friends.
Father, this is what I truly cherish and pray...that each one of these people may become your friend. Please take us there.
I simply agree as I see your sweet heart towards us, it is a beautiful plan, it is a beautiful plan. may it be done. may Your will be done in each of our hearts.
Oh, yes Lord, may we appreciate wisdom and understanding, may we appreciate correction, instruction and discipline. May we appreciate wisdom and understanding...
This I pray in Jesus name
